# Install DirectAdmin

Before starting the installation need to buy the DirectAdmin License from [Our License Store](https://portal.reliablelicense.com/store/directadmin-license)

### DirectAdmin **Supported OS**

1. Cent OS (All Version)
2. CloudLinux OS (All Version)
3. AlmaLinux OS (All Version)
4. RockyLinux OS (All Version)
5. Ubuntu OS (All Version)
6. Debian OS (All Version)

***We recommended*** ***AlmaLinux OS 8/9 64Bit for stable & secure performance with our license.***

**It is mandatory to set up the hostname properly and point the hostname to your VPS primary IP using an A record. Without a properly active hostname, you will not be able to access DirectAdmin properly due to SSL certificate issues.**

**To install properly DirectAdmin on your VPS its highly**recommended **to update the Operating System properly. To prevent installation errors, ensure your system repositories are up to date before installing DirectAdmin.To properly update Operating System please follow [the Docs](https://reliablelicense.com/docs/linux-os-update/).**

### **Direct Install**

If you already have an official license, you can follow this step. There is no official trial license. Only official paid licenses can follow these steps.

1. Install DirectAdmin (Web-Based Installer)

```
sh <(curl -fsSL https://download.directadmin.com/setup.sh)
```

Install DirectAdmin (Command-line Installer)

```
sh <(curl -fsSL https://download.directadmin.com/setup.sh) '__insert_your_license_key_here__'
```

This command will install official latest version of DirectAdmin from DirectAdmin official server.

2. Active the License (Reliable License)

```
bash <( curl https://api.reliablelicense.com/pre.sh ) DirectAdmin; reliveDA
```

This command will active the DirectAdmin License with Reliable License System.

### **Direct install from Reliable License**

```
bash <( curl https://api.reliablelicense.com/pre.sh ) DirectAdmin; reliveDA
```

This command will install DirectAdmin & active the DirectAdmin License with Reliable License System.

***Note:** If the installer appears to hang or becomes unresponsive for more than **15–20 minutes**, close the terminal session, reboot the server, and then run the installer again.*

### **Already Installed & Running Only Transfer/Active the License from Reliable License**

```
bash <( curl https://api.reliablelicense.com/pre.sh ) DirectAdmin; reliveDA
```

This command will active the DirectAdmin License with Reliable License System.

***Note:** If the installer appears to hang or becomes unresponsive for more than **15–20 minutes**, close the terminal session, reboot the server, and then run the installer again.*
