# LiteSpeed Version Update

Before running this command, make sure LiteSpeed is already installed on your server and the required reliable license is activated. Y*ou can replace the version no. on the command*. To update LiteSpeed to version 6.3.X, run the following command from the CLI as the root user:

```
/usr/local/lsws/admin/misc/lsup.sh -f -v 6.3.7 ; reliveLSWS
```
