DirectAdmin Troubleshoot

Sometimes, the DirectAdmin installer may not create or properly display the administrator account. To set up the DirectAdmin admin account manually, please run the following command:

cd /usr/local/directadmin

./directadmin install \
  --adminname=admin \
  --adminpass='YOUR-PASSWORD'

adminname – The DirectAdmin administrator username. We recommend using the default admin

adminpass – A secure password for the DirectAdmin administrator account.
